Directions: This activity aims to test the students’ ability to distinguish appropriate responses on different types of questions. The teacher will read five (5) random WH questions. Upon hearing the questions, the learners must pick the appropriate response for each item.

SPEAKING TASK: ROLE-PLAYING
(Interactive Speaking)

You will be actors and actresses in a role playing activity wherein you should be able to demonstrate your understanding of the concepts of interactive speaking.  The class will be divided into four (4) groups and they will act out a real-life situation where interactive speaking is evident.  The performance should contain two (2) examples of interactive speaking. One should come from the book and the other can come from a research or it can be originally made by your group. You can make use of props, sound effects and backdrops. After the presentation, one (1) representative from the group should explain the key points and principles of their performance. Each group will be given ten (10) minutes to present. This activity will be viewed by your classmates and your English teacher. You will be graded based on content, grammar and vocabulary, delivery and audience impact. This activity will serve as your performance task for the third quarter and will be performed in class by Friday next week.
